Project Architect (or Job Captain, if unlicensed) opening with a well-established architecture firm in Minneapolis. Permanent/Direct hire position. Available immediately.

Job Responsibilities

• Working with a team from project inception through all phases of the project
• Prepare design drawings, models, and/or specifications as directed by senior staff
• Able to research and implement jurisdictional zoning, site planning, and building codes
• Integrate architectural design and/or models with structural, mechanical and electrical systems
• Understand and prepare architectural detailing requisite to project document production
• Participate in technical discussions with contractor, consultants, project teams, and clients
• Coordination of the team and project through construction phase
• Working closely with the Project Manager and team to coordinate the work effort amongst all internal and external team members
• Delivering overall quality consistent with scope, budget and project goals
• Actively building new and future relationships

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Architecture Degree, Professional Architecture Degree a plus
• Proficiency in Revit and BlueBeam is required
• 5-10+ years of professional experience in an architecture firm
• Ability to both multi-task and be organized
• A practiced communicator and presenter, able to articulate ideas
• Strong client interface skills
• A diverse portfolio including Industrial, Warehouse, Corporate, or other Commercial project experience
• Detail-oriented with a strategic, big-picture perspective
• Effective team experience working with multiple team members

This is a Permanent position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $115000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
