As our service department continues to expand, we are seeking a motivated and reliable Service Technician Helper to support our Commercial Roofing Service Technicians on job sites.Position OverviewThe Service Technician Helper assists experienced Service Technicians with daily repair and maintenance tasks on commercial roofing systems. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals who want hands-on experience and a long-term career path in commercial roofing. Training is provided, and dependable team members have opportunities for advancement into full technician roles.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist Service Technicians with repairs on commercial roofing systems, including TPO, EPDM, PVC, Modified Bitumen, BUR, and metalLoad, unload, and transport tools, materials, and equipmentRemove debris and prepare job sites for repair workHelp set up ladders, safety equipment, and work areasOperate basic hand and power tools as neededMaintain clean, organized, and safe job sitesFollow instructions from Service Technicians and supervisorsComply with all company and OSHA safety guidelinesComfortable working at heights and outdoors in various weather conditionsBasic construction or roofing experience is helpful but not requiredAbility to lift and carry materials and perform physical laborWillingness to learn and follow instructionsStrong work ethic and dependable attendanceAbility to work well in a team environmentGood communication skillsPay & BenefitsCompetitive hourly pay based on experienceWeekly direct depositHealthcare insurance (eligible after 90 days)401(k) with company match up to $500Paid Time Off (PTO) up to 40 hours per year$25,000 company-paid life insurance (eligible after 90 days)Equal Opportunity EmployerJolly Roofing & Contracting Co., LLC, is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
