Base pay range $23.00/hr - $26.00/hr Location: Hawthorne, NY Assignment Duration: 12 months (no extension or conversion) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (OT as needed) Position Overview We are hiring three Pharmacy Technicians to join our Pharmacy fulfillment team in Hawthorne, NY. This is a hands-on role supporting daily operations to ensure prescriptions are processed, prepared, and shipped in a timely and accurate manner. You will work closely with pharmacists and team members to keep the pharmacy running smoothly—especially while the team undergoes training for SM Cloud. Key Responsibilities Work under the direct supervision of a pharmacist to prepare prescription orders accurately. Perform prescription data entry (pre-QA) by viewing images and entering prescription details into the system. Pick 15–18 orders per hour for fulfillment. Receive and store drug inventory; assist with weekly cycle counts. Initiate prescription refill requests and clarification calls as needed. Assist in packaging and shipping medications when necessary. Maintain compliance with safety, quality assurance, accreditation, and regulatory requirements. Required Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: Minimum 5 years of pharmacy technician or medical office experience (e.g., billing, coding, prior authorizations). Skills: Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Focused on accuracy and quality in all work. Licensure: NY pharmacy technician license not required, but PTCB certification or NY registration preferred. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with medications for chronic or debilitating illnesses. Previous experience in fulfillment or mail order pharmacy settings. Onsite in a collaborative, team-driven pharmacy environment. Everyone pitches in to get orders out accurately and on time. Flexibility is key—technicians help wherever they are needed most.
