Overview Description : Acute Care Specialization : Acute Care Hourly Wage Estimate : $85 - $95 / hour Job Summary : ICC (Intensive Care Consortium) is seeking a PRN experienced critical care nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join MountainView Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. Responsibilities PRN role in the critical care setting with responsibilities aligned to ICU APP scope Procedural responsibilities include routine critical care procedures with credentialing: central and arterial line placement, thoracentesis, intubations and management of mechanical ventilation Qualifications Acute care certified NP in Nevada or experienced ICU PA Reside in the Vegas area within a reasonable commute to facility ICU APP and procedural experience required APP providers must be proficient with, and credentialed to perform routine Critical Care procedures including central and arterial line placement, thoracentesis, intubations and management of mechanical ventilation Ability to work PRN, approx 4-6 shifts per month Ability to work days or nights 12-hour shifts Staffing model: 2 MDs during the day, 1 MD and 1 APP at night Ability and interest to also cover at sister facility, Southern Hills in Vegas PRN Benefits/Incentives Appropriate staffing models and flexible scheduling 100% covered occurrence based malpractice Insurance Expert practice management including privileging, provider enrollment, and billing and collections W2 Employed position, competitive hourly compensation Autonomy and ability to practice at top of scope Variety of experience covering 2 sites of care (MtnView and Southern Hills) About ICC Healthcare ICC Healthcare employees over 700 providers in 70 programs with 6-8 new programs opening each year We are part of the HCA healthcare system of care HCA owns and operates over 190 facilities in 20 states providing services to over 40 million patients annually The success of the ICC intensivist program relies on strong team building strategies within the ICU, the hardwiring of best practice evidence base protocols and streamlining the delivery of hospital wide critical care services.
