Visa sponsorship provided: No Location: Richmond, VA Remote Status: no remote Pay Type: Annual Salary Salary: 120000-130000/US Dollars Occupational Categories: Engineering/ Manufacturing/ Production/ Operations Industry(ies): Plastics / Rubber Our client, a global automotive supplier, is seeking a Tooling Manager to oversee tooling operations, injection moldingequipment maintenance, and support new tooling projects at their facility south of Richmond, VA.The role is responsible for managing tool builds and repairs, maintaining injection molding equipment, and collaborating cross-functionally with production, quality, and customers to ensure operational efficiency and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee tooling builds, repairs, and maintenance for injection molding operationsTroubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on injection molding equipmentPerform preventative maintenance (PMs) on machinery and equipmentModify, repair, and rebuild plant machinery as neededProvide technical guidance and instructions on equipment maintenance and repair proceduresPartner with production, quality, maintenance, and leadership teams to resolve tooling issues and support new projectsManage relationships with customers and vendors regarding tooling builds and repairsSupport customer visits and maintain strong customer relationshipsDrive adherence to company policies while fostering continuous improvement initiativesQualifications:5+ years of injection molding experience Experience with electrical systems and schematicsBasic PLC programming experience (Siemens)Experience programming automation equipment (Kuka preferred)Ability to read blueprints, machine manuals, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematicsStrong mechanical troubleshooting and analytical skillsInjection molding experience required Automotive experience strongly preferred SAP experience preferredExperience with Engel molding equipment preferredWhy is This a Great Opportunity :8 paid holidays + 1 flexible day (birthday)Vacation negotiableRelocation assistance availablePhone and laptop provided401K (% match): 100% match on first 4% of contributions.
