Associate Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a motivated Associate Attorney to join its Spokane, WA office. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in advocating for clients' rights and delivering exceptional legal services. This position is based in Spokane, Washington. Duties Manage discovery, including propounding and responding to written discovery, taking and defending depositions, and analyzing complex documents. Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings and complex motions. Perform legal research. Make court appearances as necessary. Participate in case strategy discussions and contribute innovative ideas. Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and team members. Collaborate with senior attorneys on cases. Requirements Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school. Active license to practice law in Washington required. At least one year of experience in litigation; experience as a plaintiff's attorney and/or prosecutorial or criminal defense experience preferred. Detail-oriented and organized, a team player, reliable, and capable of multitasking and managing a high volume of time-critical projects under tight deadlines. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Education Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school. Certifications Active license to practice law in Washington. Skills Strong legal research and writing skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
