Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive nursing care to emergency room patients, ensuring timely and effective treatment in a high-pressure environment. Supervises and collaborates with healthcare team members to deliver quality patient care aligned with established standards.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver coordinated nursing interventions based on patient assessment and care plans.
• Supervise and direct nursing staff activities, ensuring adherence to protocols and standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, clinical team members, and patients to develop and implement care strategies.
• Evaluate patient responses to treatments and modify care plans accordingly.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure seamless patient transitions and continuity of care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Possess active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
• Have at least two years of recent experience in emergency care or similar acute settings.
• Maintain current certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Demonstrate strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and communication skills.
