About the Role

The Company is in search of a Managing Director for its Outsourced Accounting Services (CAAS) practice. The successful candidate will be a CPA with a strong background in public accounting and outsourced accounting, ideally with experience in leading CAS/CAAS engagements, managing outsourced accounting teams, and nurturing middle-market client relationships. The role involves overseeing all CAAS engagements to ensure quality, efficiency, and profitability, serving as a strategic advisor to clients, and driving business development and new client acquisition. The Managing Director will also be responsible for team performance, mentoring, and professional development, as well as for the practice's KPIs, budgeting, forecasting, and full P&L. Applicants for the Managing Director position at the company should have a CPA, with an MBA being preferred, and at least 10-15 years' of progressive experience in public accounting and/or outsourced accounting. Strong leadership skills, a proven track record in client advisory, business development, and practice growth, and experience with middle-market clients are essential. The role requires advanced knowledge of accounting systems and technology, and the ability to improve processes and leverage technology solutions. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, capable of partnering with firm leadership on growth strategy, innovation, and market expansion.
