Linehaul/Shuttle Driver

Role: This position involves safely and efficiently transporting products via tractor-trailer, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with safety and food safety protocols. Responsibilities Transport goods from warehouse to customer, load/unload per specifications. Complete required paperwork, including logs, inspections, and invoices accurately and promptly. Maintain proper temperatures and adhere to food safety standards during delivery. Follow safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and operate equipment properly. Develop courteous relationships with customers through excellent service and communication. Report route deviations, trailer issues, or customer concerns to management. Work flexible schedules, including overnight trips, weekends, and holidays as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or GED; tractor-trailer driving experience preferred or completion of driving school. Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License and insurability. Knowledge of DOT regulations, Hazmat guidelines, and safe lifting practices. Skills in long-distance driving, customer communication, problem-solving, and delivering under various conditions. Ability to operate large vehicles, read/write English, perform basic math, and organize work independently. Physical & Work Environment Regularly sit, talk, hear, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds or push/pull heavier loads with equipment. Climb in/out of vehicles, withstand various weather conditions, and work in confined or noisy environments.
