Call Center Specialist Full Time Days

Responsibilities Behavioral Health Connections, Inc. is a provider of patient-focused, comprehensive mental health services. The Call Center Specialist performs administrative functions to assist in the management of patient care by monitoring referrals and connecting them to relevant healthcare providers. Responsibilities include organizing, facilitating, and coordinating timely evaluations with therapists and acceptance of patients referred for services, insurance verification, and data entry. Job Duties/Responsibilities Answer phones and collect demographic information related to the person to be assessed. Coordinate and process patient documents and paperwork for patient transfers. Ensure all required information is accurately documented within several information system programs. Assist Mobile Assessment Team Evaluators with commitment process, paperwork, and transfer process, if necessary. Prefer knowledge of crisis intervention and risk assessment, psychiatric diagnoses symptomology, basic chemical dependency, age‑specific growth and development, and crisis and behavior management.
