The CNC Machinist will operate milling and multi-axis CNC machines to produce custom prototype parts, high-precision aerospace components, and medical device parts. This role functions both independently and within a small team of 2-5 members. The machinist will handle machine setup, tool calibration, program interpretation, and basic editing of existing CNC programs to ensure quality and precision.
Responsibilities
- Set up milling and multi-axis CNC machines for production runs
- Calibrate tools to meet exact specifications
- Operate CNC machines to manufacture custom and high-precision parts
- Interpret and perform basic edits to CNC programs
- Handle materials and manage workflow within the machining process
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in CNC machining
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CNC milling
- Strong problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail
- Effective time management
