This opportunity offers a key role as a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) for a mail order medical equipment environment. The position requires a California-licensed pharmacist to fulfill PIC duties for a 4 to 8-week period, supporting the facility while their permanent PIC completes licensing.

Located near Santa Maria, CA, this Per Diem role provides flexibility with remote work options; however, candidates should reside close enough to the facility to respond onsite if necessary. The workload is minimal, focused primarily on maintaining the PIC designation and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid California pharmacist license or ability to obtain license promptly
• Prior experience as a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC)
• Knowledge of pharmacy regulations and compliance standards in California
• Ability to work independently and provide oversight remotely
• Proximity to Santa Maria, CA for occasional onsite presence

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the designated Pharmacist in Charge during the interim period (4 to 8 weeks)
• Maintain compliance with state pharmacy laws and facility policies
• Provide oversight and accountability for pharmacy operations as required
• Be available remotely but prepared to visit the facility if needed

Per Diem Schedule:

• Guaranteed minimum of 11 hours per week
