This opportunity is ideal for a licensed Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) seeking a flexible, per diem role within a mail order medical equipment environment. The position is based in Nipomo, CA, with the potential to work remotely; however, candidates should be located close to the facility to accommodate occasional onsite requirements.

The primary responsibility is to serve as the PIC for a 4 to 8-week period, covering until the permanent PIC secures their California license. This role offers a straightforward commitment, focusing on maintaining compliance and oversight with minimal daily workload.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Active California Pharmacist license required
• Previous experience as a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) preferred
• Familiarity with mail order pharmacy or medical equipment operations is a plus
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and state pharmacy laws
• Ability to be onsite within proximity to Nipomo, CA as needed

Responsibilities:

• Serve as Pharmacist in Charge during the interim licensing period
• Ensure adherence to California pharmacy regulations and standards
• Provide oversight and guidance for pharmacy operations remotely, with occasional onsite presence
• Collaborate with management to maintain a compliant and efficient work environment

Location:

• Nipomo, California (remote work possible with proximity to facility)

Schedule:

• Per diem position, guaranteeing a minimum of 11 hours per week
