Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Per Diem Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) position is available for a duration of 4 to 8 weeks, supporting a mail order medical equipment environment. This opportunity requires a licensed CA Pharmacist to serve as PIC until the permanent PIC obtains their CA license. While much of the role can be performed remotely, proximity to the facility is necessary should onsite presence be required.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) adhering to all regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Provide oversight and support for pharmacy operations in a mail order medical equipment setting.
• Be available to visit the facility onsite if situations arise that require physical presence.
• Ensure all pharmacy activities conform to state and federal laws during the interim period.

Qualifications:

• Valid California Pharmacist license.
• Prior experience as a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) or in a similar leadership role.
• Ability to work independently with minimal onsite supervision.
• Strong understanding of mail order pharmacy operations and regulatory standards.
• Must reside close enough to the facility to respond onsite when needed.

Location:

• Grover Beach, CA (remote work with occasional onsite visits as required).

Schedule:

• Per Diem with a guaranteed minimum of 11 hours weekly.
