Position Overview OhioHealth seeks an Advanced Heart Failure Physician to join its Heart & Vascular team at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, OH. Largest open heart surgery program in central Ohio Large system-based Heart & Vascular service line with 100 cardiologists 9 heart failure clinics across OhioHealth feeding into Riverside Methodist Hospital’s AHF clinic Responsibilities Approximate call rotation of 1:5 weeks for inpatient coverage; other weeks will be outpatient clinic Monday through Friday with half day for procedures and half day for administrative time Precept intern and first‑year residents and/or cardiology fellows during inpatient service weeks Perform procedures including left or right heart catheterization, cardio-MEMS, cardiac stress testing (CPEX), and percutaneous pumps (if desired) Available to support dedicated heart hospital and CVICU/MICU units; direct access to cath lab and imaging Requirements Board certified or board eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant Experience with LVAD, cardiac transplant, and acute mechanical circulatory support Interest in clinical research and quality improvement Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary with starting bonus, $80,000 student loan assistance, $48,000 retention bonus, $8,000 fellowship stipend, and relocation bonus Generous benefits package inclusive of time‑away pay, CME, and wellness offerings to support work‑life balance Epic EMR system usage Participation in OhioHealth Physician Leadership Institute and Development Curriculum Physician leadership approach that offers system support for all our providers #J-18808-Ljbffr OhioHealth
