Description: Riverside Methodist Hospital is home to the largest open heart surgery program in central Ohio. Large system-based Heart & Vascular service line with 100 Cardiologists 9 heart failure clinics throughout OhioHealth that feed into Riverside Methodist Hospital’s AHF Clinic Approximate call rotation of 1:5 weeks for inpatient coverage; other weeks will be outpatient clinic Monday through Friday with ½ day for procedures and ½ day for admin time Precept IM/FM residents and/or Cardiology fellows during inpatient service weeks Procedures include left/right heart caths, cardio MEMS, CPEX, percutaneous pumps (if desired) Dedicated heart hospital and CVICU/MICU Direct access to cath lab and imaging Competitive salary Starting bonus/$80,000 in Student Loans/$48,000 Retention Bonus /Fellowship Stipends/$8,000 Relocation Bonus Generous Benefits package inclusive of time away pay, CME, and wellness offerings to support work life balance Epic EMR System OhioHealth Physician Leadership Institute and Development Curriculum Physician leadership approach that offers system support for all our providers Requirements: BC/BE Cardiovascular Disease and Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant Experience with LVAD, cardiac transplant, and acute MCS.
