Overview The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seek an academic interventional cardiology and structural heart physician to join the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine. Academic rank and track commensurate with academic record and experience. Board-certified/board-eligible interventional cardiology and structural heart physician to join an elite team of academic physicians at the assistant or associate professor rank. Focus on both routine and complex coronary artery disease, including inpatient and outpatient consultative and primary services in a world-class facility at the Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital. Interests in clinical and extramurally funded research are desirable. The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine comprises more than 60 cardiology and vascular medicine specialists dedicated to advancing heart and vascular care with state-of-the-art technologies, treatments, and clinical trials. Faculty are involved in a range of basic, translational, and clinical research projects. Responsibilities Provide routine and complex interventional cardiology and structural heart care. Deliver inpatient and outpatient consultative and primary services. Engage in clinical research and, when eligible, extramural funding opportunities. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team at a leading academic medical center. Qualifications / Requirements Board Eligible/Certified Successful completion of a US-accredited cardiology fellowship Eligible for an Ohio License Clinical and extramural funded research desirable Qualify for an academic appointment at The Ohio State University – academic rank and salary commensurate with training and experience Division and Center Overview The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine includes a team of over 60 cardiologists and specialists focused on general cardiology, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, adult congenital heart disease, heart failure, transplantation, mechanical circulatory support, pulmonary vascular disease, women’s cardiovascular health, cardiac MRI/CT, and cardio-oncology. The division emphasizes innovative catheter-based interventions, imaging, and personalized medical therapies. Faculty contribute to training through a core cardiovascular medicine fellowship and several subspecialty fellowships.
