Position Overview The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible cardiac inflammation physician/physician-scientist with an extramurally funded clinical or translational research program to join an elite team of academic physicians at the assistant, associate, or full professor rank. The successful candidate will focus on leading the Cardiac Inflammation Program, building research across cardiovascular disease disciplines with a focus on both routine and complex cardiovascular care, including inpatient and outpatient consultative and primary services in a world‑class facility at the Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital. The Ohio State University Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is setting new standards for advanced heart and vascular care through an internationally and nationally recognized expert group of more than 60 cardiology and vascular medicine specialists. Requirements Board Eligible/Certified Successful completion of a US-accredited cardiology fellowship Eligible for an Ohio License Clinical or Translational Extramurally funded research preferred Qualify for an academic appointment at The Ohio State University – Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with previous training and experience Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check.
