Position Overview The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seek an academic Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplant physician to direct the Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Section within the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine. The position is at associate professor or professor rank, with an extramurally funded clinical or translational research program. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership in clinical care and research initiatives, leading the Division’s high-performing heart failure and cardiac transplant team, and expanding services at the Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital and the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Responsibilities Expand outpatient and inpatient services at the nationally recognized Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital and the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Advance heart failure research through clinical and translational projects. Mentor junior faculty and trainees, fostering academic development. Lead a high‑performing team of academic physicians and contribute to the Division’s strategic goals. Requirements Board‑eligible or board‑certified in heart failure and transplant cardiology. Completion of a U.S.‑accredited cardiology fellowship. Eligibility for an Ohio medical license. Clinical or translational research experience preferred. Qualified for an academic appointment at The Ohio State University; academic rank and salary commensurate with training and experience.
