Human Resources Generalist

We are seeking an experienced and hands‑on Part‑Time HR Generalist to support a growing organization with a wide range of human resources functions. This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys balancing employee relations, recruiting, benefits administration, compliance, and HR operations while working a flexible part‑time schedule. The ideal candidate is organized, approachable, and knowledgeable in employment laws and HR best practices. Key Responsibilities Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes Support recruiting activities, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination Administer employee benefits and assist with open enrollment Maintain employee records and HRIS data accuracy Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures Assist with employee relations matters and workplace investigations Coordinate leave administration, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, and other leave requests Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws Support performance management and employee development initiatives Assist with payroll‑related HR functions and employee data changes Prepare HR reports, audits, and documentation as needed Participate in special projects and continuous improvement efforts Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred 3+ years of HR Generalist experience Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices Experience supporting employee relations, benefits, and compliance activities Experience working with HRIS systems (ADP, Paycom, UKG, Workday, or similar) Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Outlook Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year Benefit Offerings: medical dental vision life insurance short‑term disability additional voluntary benefits EAP program commuter benefits 401K plan Our benefit offerings provide employees the flexibility to choose the type of coverage that meets their individual needs.
