Senior Quality Assurance PM, Mechanical Data Center Construction

Senior Quality Assurance PM, Mechanical Data Center Construction Turner & Townsend are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance PM, Mechanical to join our team in support of the Data Center Construction team. The ideal individual will have prior experience supporting large-scale construction projects. Responsibilities include effectively managing and collaborating with project stakeholders, ensuring efficient communication across the internal team, analyzing and managing critical milestone activities, verifying project governance, and ensuring application of best practices on all projects. Responsibilities also include production of formal project status reports, monitoring the progress of multiple construction projects, managing the interface between all suppliers, managing the flow of project information, forecasting and updating key project milestones, managing and monitoring local design teams, providing technical support to owners, architects, general contractors and regional stakeholders, and providing rapid response to RFIs from the field. Additional responsibilities include providing expertise for cost control, value engineering, and constructability guidance, independent review of status reports, drawing submittals, timelines and costs, client management, strategic thinking, knowledge management, process improvement, and SOX control responsibilities where applicable. Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in construction management, mechanical engineering, or applicable bachelor's degree and or equivalent experience, minimum 5-7 years of relevant project management experience, specifically working with mechanical systems in the built environment, strong organizational and management skills, background working in design or construction with a mechanical or BMS controls experience, and proficiency managing construction documents including BODs, specifications, contract drawings, C/D/E's, equipment submittals and RFIs. Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, Project, Smartsheets, and other construction project management tools is also required. Turner & Townsend
