Customers visit our stores for much more than a good value on gasoline and products, they come for the value of a warm smile and courteous welcome.GENERAL SUMMARYThe Food Service Assistant Manager is responsible for maximizing the Store’s Food Service sales, delivering, and inspiring excellent customer service, maintaining our quality and safety standards, and effectively managing inventory. The ability and desire to build and motivate a high performing team is also required.PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES:Workforce Management and DevelopmentResponsible for the daily operation of all Food Service Areas, including, Made to Order Food, Commissary Food, Bakery, and Dispensed Beverage (coffee, fountain, & slush), including self-service, full-service and drive up.Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaintsOrganize and supervise shiftsOrder and maintain proper inventory levels for goods, supplies, kitchen utensils and cleaning productsTrain new and current employees on proper customer service practicesEnforce all company procedures and protocols.Customer ServiceProvide the best customer experience to every customerGreet every customer with a smile and sincere greetingSuggest possible purchases to the customers and promote specialsAssume full responsibility for the execution of Nouria’s customer service program at the site levelSafety & Station AppearanceResponsible for doing what is necessary to minimize the safety risks to employees, customers, and suppliers. Assure that all site employees are adequately trained on safety policies and procedures and maintains adequate controls to verify compliance to theseAssure all environmental and hazardous material regulations are strictly enforcedMaintain safety and security of the store and document any accidents or incidents that occurManage the maintenance of the customer environment inside and around the perimeter of the storeOperate all assigned equipment safely and efficientlysupport implementation of the Nouria Safety and Health programPromptly Report and investigate workplace accidents, injuries, incidents, or illnesses involving employees within the locationComplete the new employee safety orientation procedure with all new or transferred employees working at the storeRegularly inspect stores in your area of responsibility for workplace hazards and initiate corrective action immediatelyEncourage employees to report unsafe conditions or work practices and initiate corrective actionPromote a quick return to work for employees under your supervisionQUALIFICATIONS:ServSafe Certification a plusProven work experience as a shift lead, supervisor, or similar role in food serviceProven customer service experience, with track record for problem solving.Proficient food and beverage knowledgeComputer literateStrong motivational and people skillsWorking knowledge of food service and coffee equipmentAbility to troubleshoot minor problems.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Ensures physical maintenance, safety, cleanliness, and attractiveness of all store facilitiesPerforms other related duties as requiredMust be able to lift to 35 pounds at timesMust be able to traverse and access all areas of the storeProlonged periods of standingStarting Rate: $17.50Nouria Energy is an equal opportunity employer.
