System Administrator (II-III)BTS Software Solutions is seeking a System Administrator to manage information systems in support of customer operations. The position is for a future opportunity scheduled for Award Spring 2027.Job Location: Annapolis Junction, MDClearance Requirement: TS/SCI with Poly from Maryland customerDegree Requirement:Level 2- Five (5) years experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity within the Federal Government is required. Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional system administration experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.Level 3- Ten (10) years experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.Relevant Experience: All Levels:Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systemsProvide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problemsManage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systemsProvide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systemsProvide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problemsProvide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customersOptimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planningProvide in-depth experience in trouble-shooting IT systemsProvide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated ticketsProvide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution processConfigure and manage UNIX and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performanceAddition Requirements for Level 3:Provides detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated ticketsSupports the design of systems, mission architecture and associated hardwareDirects and possess a working knowledge and understand of system administration interdependencies as part of the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)Analyzes and resolves complex problems associated with server hardware, applications and software integrationPay Range: $200,000-$250,000Company Overview: BTS Software Solutions is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business who are community-focused innovators who transform ideas into technology to serve people.
