Field Service Engineer

Overview As a Field Service Engineer Control Systems at JBT Marel, you will install and maintain our machines at customer sites. The role requires strong electrical background, troubleshooting skills, and a focus on customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Prepare and execute controls (electrical cabinets, software, PLC) during installation projects. Conduct service visits and troubleshoot production issues at customer sites. Supervise local employees on larger installations. Communicate progress and report to customers. Train customers, colleagues, and provide feedback. Prepare for future projects and report on completed ones. Participate in personal and technical training, both in-office and on the job. Attend regular meetings with manager and team. Qualifications Passionate about technology, willing to travel 65‑80%. Independent, flexible, stress‑resilient, hands‑on, analytic, and strong problem‑solving skills. Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or equivalent vocational degree with several years of relevant experience. Experience or interest in electrical cabinet re‑build, software installation/configuration, and/or PLC troubleshooting. Affinity with process engineering and/or food production is a plus. Both fresh graduates and experienced candidates are welcome.
