We are seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant with a strongaccountingandASC 606 revenue recognitionfocusto support project financial performance, strategic planning, andGAAP-compliantfinancial reportingin a project-based AEC environment. This roleserves as a key accounting partner toproject managers, operations, and finance leadership to deliver insights that improve project profitability and support informeddecision‑making. Responsibilities Lead ASC 606 revenue recognition forproject‑basedcontracts, includingpercentage‑of‑completioncalculations, revenue true-ups, and WIP analysis. Analyze project financialresults, including revenue, margins, laborutilization, cost drivers, and variance trends, with a strong emphasis on accounting accuracy and risk identification. Leadmonth‑endclose activities related to project accounting, including revenue recognition (percentage‑of‑completion)andaccruals. Partner with project managersto ensureaccuraterevenue recognition throughout the project lifecycle. Prepareand reviewmonthly project performance reports,revenue schedules,forecasts, and dashboards forproject managersand operational leadership. Support annual budgeting,multi‑yearplanning, backlog analysis, and scenario modelingbyvalidatingrevenue recognition assumptions and accounting treatment Apply established revenue accounting policies to project updates and change activity. Build financial models for proposals, fee structures, change orders, and project ROIanalysis. Ensureaccuratefinancial reporting and compliance with GAAP, internal controls, andAEC‑specificaccountingstandards,supporting external audit requests. Help supportad hoc requests from Accounting and Company leadership Qualifications Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance(CPAorCMA preferred). 5–8+years ofpublic accounting experience orrelevantaccountingexperience ina project-based environment(architecture, engineering, construction, orproject‑basedconsulting)preferred. Strong understanding ofpercentage‑of‑completionrevenue recognition,project accounting,andWIP schedules. Experience supporting audits and applying accounting standards in a close-oriented, execution-focused role. High attention to detail with strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with project teamsand explain accounting outcomes to non-financial stakeholders. DeltekVantagepoint experience a plus. This position is designated as full-time on-site and requires the employee to be physically present at the assigned office location Monday through Friday during standard business hours . Regular, reliable on-site attendance is an essential function of this role.
