Join a dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician working night shifts. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive respiratory care services following established departmental protocols. You will respond promptly to resuscitation events and respiratory emergencies, ensuring patient safety and well-being.

Responsibilities: Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in patient charts and departmental records. Serve as charge therapist when required, demonstrating leadership and clinical expertise. Operate and assemble respiratory equipment with manual dexterity, and assist patients with positioning and mobility as needed. Maintain composure and effective communication in high-pressure situations involving patients, families, and healthcare colleagues.

Education and Certification: Must hold a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) license issued by the state respiratory care board. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required. Candidates hired after March 1, 2019, must obtain Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials within 36 months of employment to continue in this role.

Experience and Skills: Familiarity with medical terminology and current respiratory care techniques is essential. Knowledge of psychosocial, physiological, and spiritual needs across all age groups—from infants to adults—is important to provide compassionate, age-appropriate care. Physical requirements include the ability to stand or walk for extended periods, visual acuity, and the capacity to safely move patients and equipment.

This position may involve exposure to blood and other potentially infectious materials, so adherence to safety protocols is critical.
