Tap Healthcare Solutions is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join WelbeHealth in Stockton, California . Working under the direction of a Physical Therapist, you will help implement individualized treatment plans, guide therapeutic exercises and mobility activities, monitor patient progress, and provide hands-on support to a frail and elderly patient population. This full-time opportunity offers a competitive salary of $74,000 – $99,000 annually and the chance to build meaningful relationships with patients while helping them maintain their independence and functional abilities.

• Associate's degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) from an accredited program.
• Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license or documented eligibility for licensure.
• One (1) to two (2) years of professional experience.
• Clinical knowledge and skills necessary to treat frail, elderly patients with complex healthcare needs.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Physical Therapists and other members of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Willingness and ability to travel occasionally as required.

• Previous experience working with adult or geriatric patient populations.
• Rehabilitation experience involving older adults with complex medical or mobility needs.
• Experience supporting therapeutic exercise, mobility training, functional rehabilitation, and individualized treatment plans.
• Familiarity with interdisciplinary approaches to geriatric rehabilitation and patient care.

The ideal candidate is a compassionate and dependable Physical Therapist Assistant with hands-on adult and/or geriatric experience and a genuine interest in helping older adults preserve mobility, function, and independence. They are patient, observant, and comfortable adapting rehabilitation interventions to individuals with complex healthcare needs. Candidates whose professional experience is exclusively pediatric will not be considered for this opportunity.

3. Do you currently hold a valid Physical Therapist Assistant license , or are you eligible for PTA licensure?
4. Is any of your professional PTA experience outside of an exclusively pediatric setting?
5. Are you willing and able to travel occasionally as required?
