Fixed Income Rates Trader A key role on Capital Fixed Income Investors team, responsible for executing trades, identifying strategies, and collaborating globally. Based in LosAngeles or NewYork. Responsibilities Execute trades and identify trading strategies and investment opportunities across US interest rate products, including government bonds, interest rate swaps, futures and options. Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships with investment group colleagues and sell‑side counterparties. Communicate regularly with Capital’s global trading desks to ensure a global view on bond markets. Collaborate with Capital’s investment professionals worldwide to discuss market trends and investment strategies. Liaise with Investment Operations and other fixed‑income business units to maintain order flow integrity, monitor risk and improve communication. Perform additional responsibilities and undertake special projects as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of fixed‑income rates trading experience in a high‑performing sell‑side or buy‑side environment. Self‑starter and team player with excellent communication skills. Strong relationship building and negotiation skills. Embrace new technology and champion use of new tools and systems. Capable of working calmly, flexibly and efficiently in a fast‑paced environment. Salary & Benefits NewYork: $150,000–$250,000 base salary. LosAngeles: $150,000–$250,000 base salary. Competitive salary, annual performance bonus and additional profitability bonus.
