UNC Women's Health & UNC Family Medicine in Eden, NC seeks two full-time Family Medicine Physicians with Surgical Obstetrics. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape a new FM/OB practice model, practice top of license, tailor a position to your unique interest, and make a meaningful impact in a rural, underserved community.

Opportunity to build a full-scope primary care and obstetric practice

• Women's Health at UNC Women's Health at Eden
• Joining two full-time OB/GYNs, a NP, and per diem OB/GYNS
• 5-minute walk to hospital

• Physicians can tailor their roles to align with their interest through options such as newborn nursery, adult hospitalist per diem shifts, sports medicine clinic and coverage at local high schools, procedures including ultrasound guided procedures, paracentesis, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, thyroid FNA biopsy, and breast lesion FNA

Requirements

• MD or DO required
• NC Medical License or eligible
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine
• Completed ACGME-approved 3-year family medicine residency with strong perinatal healthcare training
• Fellowship training in operative obstetrics is required
