Job Description HB Steel is a well-established full-line Steel Service Center offering cut-to-length, shearing, blanking, sawing, burning, hole punching, and delivery. We maintain an excellent reputation in the industries we serve.We are currently seeking a reliable, hardworking ironworker to join our growing organization. In this position, you will perform various warehouse activities, including picking, packing, sawing, punching, sorting, shipping, receiving, loading, and unloading steel products. Keen attention to detail is a must. Room for growth. Duties and Responsibilities Welcome delivery trucks and safely load/unload products Ability to handle heavy materials Inspect and prepare incoming/outgoing products for damage Operate overhead cranes and forklifts to move products to appropriate places (Will Train) Wrap and unwrap stock from bundes Tag and label products according to shape, size, type, etc. Follow organizational standards - ensure your environment is safe for you and others Comply with regulations and procedures to align with quality service standards Communicate clearly and efficiently with your supervisors and teammates Properly use and maintain warehouse equipment (Will Train) Comply with regulations and procedures to align with quality service standards Ensure your work environment is clean, tidy, and safe for you and others around you Requirements and Qualifications English speaking Previous warehouse/general labor experience (1-2 years preferred) Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds Comfortable standing for lengths of time, good stamina Ability to push, pull, twist, and reach for day-to-day activities Time management skills and efficient in a fast-paced environment Dependable and reliable, easy to communicate with #J-18808-Ljbffr Chris Baily
