Schedule / Pay: 

2nd shift

Monday through Thursday 4:15 pm to 2:45 am. Friday is reserved for OT. If OT is required, the teams will be notified on Thursday.

Pay rate $20.69/hr. +$1 differential

This position is responsible for inspecting and auditing products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Candidates should have previous manufacturing or quality experience and be familiar with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, and measuring tapes. Must be detail-oriented, able to identify defects, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect and audit products for quality and conformance to specifications
• Use calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, measuring tapes, and other measuring equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints and product drawings
• Identify defects and non-conforming products
• Complete inspection reports and Non-Conformance Reports
• Perform receiving and shipping/dock audits as needed
• Monitor MRB materials and scrap
• Assist with corrective actions and root cause analysis
• Support GR&R, SPC, and continuous improvement activities
• Work closely with Production, Materials, and Quality departments
• Maintain accurate inspection and quality records
• Follow all safety and PPE requirements

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous quality inspection or manufacturing experience preferred
• Experience with calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, and other measuring tools preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and product drawings
• Basic knowledge of SPC and GR&R is a plus
