THE OPPORTUNITY:

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for a mix of inbound and outbound calls from customers within their assigned region, utilizing automotive aftermarket cataloging and parts knowledge to grow sales and accurately complete customer orders. This individual must be highly customer service–oriented and capable of locating products both internally and externally to meet customer needs.

The Inside Sales Representative will report directly to the Regional Sales Director and will be held accountable for achieving daily, monthly, and annual individual sales goals.

This role requires close collaboration with Branch Managers to ensure customer service expectations are consistently met, as well as strategic coordination with Outside Sales Representatives to help grow their books of business and meet overall sales objectives.

The Inside Sales Representative will be expected to convert customer interactions into transactions and proactively implement outbound call strategies to achieve sales targets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Establish andmaintainan installer book of business that meets and exceeds year-over-year sales targets.
• Meet sales quota expectations set byRegionalSales Director.
• Negotiateprices, terms, and closedeals with customers to secure sales. 
• Maintain andutilizeCRM sales data toidentifycategory opportunities to grow customerbase.
• Perform outbound calls / cold call prospective customersto generate sales.
• Generate revenue bysolicitingand obtaining orders for variousNMGproducts and services,understandingand interpreting technical requirements, providing technical information, and developing accounts for current and new customers.
• Answer inbound calls andassistcustomers in completing theirpartsorder.
• Develop strong connections with both new and existing clients to understand their needs and foster loyalty.
• Utilize aftermarket parts cataloging and parts knowledge toassistwith theircustomer’sneeds andfacilitateany necessary troubleshooting.
• Remind customersof communicatedcorporate promotional opportunities.
• Utilize outside vendor opportunities to help find a part that is not available internally.
• Provide consultation and expert advice tobranch managers on anyservice relatedissues.
• Recommend Transend Online Cataloging for customers that prefer online ordering.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in automotive aftermarket internal/counter salespreferred.
• High School Diploma, or equivalent work experience in role.
• Strong personal values that matchthose ofNMG’s; includingIntegrity, Commitment, Humility, Respect, and Optimism.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Experience using automotive aftermarket parts cataloging.
• Automotive aftermarket parts knowledge.
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure.
• Relationship building.
• Experience usingweb basedorder portals.
• Strong customer service philosophy.
• Proventrack recordof meeting counter sales targets.
• Proficiency in POS order punch out platforms.
