Location: NW Boston Area, MA

The Opportunity

Solid Rock Recruiting is partnered with a respected and growing commercial contractor in the NW Boston area that is looking to add a Division 10 Estimator to their Preconstruction team.

This is a strong opportunity for someone who knows specialties inside and out, takes pride in accuracy, and understands how to build clean, complete scopes that protect margin. The company continues to expand across multiple markets and is investing in the right people to support that growth.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents with a focus on Division 10 scopes.
• Develop accurate, detailed estimates and proposals for specialties packages.
• Ensure complete scope coverage and identify gaps, risks, and opportunities.
• Stay current on material, vendor, and labor pricing specific to Division 10.
• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to ensure competitive and complete bids.
• Support the estimating team and contribute to continuous improvement in processes and accuracy.

What They’re Looking For

• Experience estimating Division 10 scopes (specialties) in commercial construction.
• Strong understanding of drawings, specifications, and scope development.
• Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter who can work independently and take ownership of their work.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

• Ability to pass a background check.
