Find your future with us.The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) - Phantom Works organization is seeking an experienced Engineer to join the Signature Integrity Team in St. Louis, Missouri as a Supportable Low Observable (SLO) Lead Engineer.This role is critical for the development of tools and processes required to sustain stealth platform signature performance on advanced Air Dominance platforms.The successful candidate will provide technical leadership to a team of SLO engineers, ensuring the effective execution of SLO plans while maximizing operational availability and minimizing life cycle costs.Key Responsibilities:Lead the SLO team in maximizing operational availability and minimizing life cycle costs of Boeing products with low observable design featuresAnalyze customer and system requirements to develop architectural approaches and detailed specifications for various productsDevelop high-level and detailed designs consistent with requirements and specificationsValidate designs through various methods of review, testing, and analysisImplement supportability guidelines early in platform designShare SLO experience and methods across low observable programsIdentify improvements in designs, materials, tools, or methods to reduce life cycle costs for usersMature data collection and analysis tools to efficiently direct low observable maintenance actionsCollaborate with materials & processes, product support, and reliability & maintainability engineersManage multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating strong organizational and documentation skillsPrepare technical specifications, procedures, and reportsCommunicate results and status to project stakeholders, including government and suppliersBasic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience): Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement 9+ years of experience working with Low Observable (LO) Engineering ProcessesActive U.S. Top Secret Security ClearanceAbility to obtain Special Program Access (U.S. Only Citizenship Required)Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):9+ years of experience in reliability and maintainability, product support, or materials & processes engineeringStrong analytical skills with the ability to develop innovative solutions to engineering challengesProven track record of leading engineering teams and managing complex projectsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teamsFamiliarity with data visualization tools and techniques for effective communication of resultsExperience in technical writing and documentation for engineering specifications and reportsConflict of Interest:Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.Signing Bonus:Potential signing bonus for eligible/qualified external candidatesDrug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace (DFW) where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.The Boeing 401(k) helps you save for your future, with contributions from Boeing that can help you grow your retirement savings.
