Lead Inside Sales Client Manager

Lead Inside Sales Client Manager The Lead Inside Sales Client Manager is a transactional role focused on current clients, engaging through programmatic use cases and digital channels to acquire their technology needs. They mine new sales opportunities within an assigned account list and use a proactive, systematic approach leveraging company tools and methodologies to understand clients’ implicit and explicit needs. The role also acts as an informal team lead. Key Responsibilities Must be bilingual in Japanese and English. Manage and grow relationships and drive expansion and renewals across all solutions within assigned accounts. Minimize churn and maximize retention. Drive client satisfaction throughout the entire lifecycle. Generate demand by assisting clients to identify current needs and articulate how the company can add value. Use the company’s sales tools and methodology to manage accounts, opportunities, pipelines, and forecasts. Present new and additional offerings to clients. Communicate quotes, provide sales documentation, and obtain sales orders. Build relationships with clients and demonstrate knowledge of the client environment. Identify opportunities for up‑selling of solutions. Identify sales opportunities by managing and growing revenue across solution areas in assigned accounts. Comply with governance and compliance standards and report issues for investigation and resolution. Adhere to Finance standards and procedures to reduce costs and report risks. Key administrative responsibilities: schedule and manage executive level appointments, meetings, and travel; coordinate daily schedules; serve as gatekeeper; create itineraries; track expenses; maintain confidentiality; coordinate events and team‑building; provide personal assistance as requested; perform any related tasks. Required Experience Significant demonstrated experience in a similar role in a similar environment. Significant sales and client engagement experience. Significant experience negotiating with clients and vendors. Significant experience analyzing commercial information. Required Qualifications Basic understanding of IT infrastructure (e.g., data centers, networks). Native‑level proficiency in Japanese. Effective communication skills in English. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. Willingness to learn and use sales tools such as Salesforce. Preferred Qualifications Experience in inside sales at an IT company. Familiarity with quotation and order workflows in IT services. Experience using Salesforce or similar sales tools. Proactive information gathering and consulting with supervisors in ambiguous situations. Understanding of both U.S. and Japanese corporate cultures. Working Conditions This is a home‑office based position, with occasional travel for company meetings. Responsibilities may require evening work to support Asia and European coworkers on the Global Sales Team. Compensation Target Base Salary: $76,800 to $115,200 base plus variable bonus. Salary within this range depends on experience and job‑related requirements.
