SUPERVISORY CONTRACT SPECIALIST

Job TitleJob DescriptionManage the District's multi-million dollar contracting program for single and multiple purpose civil works water resources projects; military design and construction projects, environmental restoration, hazardous toxic and radiological waste.Develop long range organizational plans and goals through subordinate organizational chiefs, assign work to subordinates, determining work schedules and priorities.Implement contracting laws, higher authority directives and policy, develop and issue local guidance.Serve as a member of various boards (Corporate Board, District Acquisition Strategy Board, etc.) to ensure contracting commitments are met.Represent the District in meetings with officials from other districts, higher echelons, contractors, and other agencies.
