We offer flexible scheduling options to fit your availability. de Lazy Lizard is a tropical-themed outdoor restaurant featuring beach playgrounds for families and waterfront seating and tiki bars for adults. Our focus is on providing fresh, quality food & drinks made to order, accompanied by interactive and memorable guest experiences. Server Job Description: As a server at de Lazy Lizard, you play a vital role in shaping the guest experience. Your primary responsibilities include:- Recommending signature items and engaging guests to enhance their dining experience.
- Providing personalized service in a warm and professional manner.
- Properly IDing guests if they are ordering alcohol (21+)
- Maintaining a clean and organized section, ensuring compliance with health department guidelines.
- Assisting team members by pre-bussing and running drinks to support a collaborative environment.
- Handling payments accurately and following responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Using radios to communicate effectively with staff and management.
- Using tablets to place orders and take payments tableside.
- Reporting any guest issues to managers rather than attempting to resolve them independently.
- Following all procedures and guidelines outlined in the employee handbook and training materials.
- Upselling and marketing yourself to give your guests the best experience
- Proper use of our apps such as Hotschedules, payday portal, tipzyy, jolt
- Show up on time.
- Show up with a positive attitude.
- Show up in uniform with all necessary supplies.
