de Lazy Lizard is a tropical-themed outdoor restaurant featuring beach playgrounds for families and waterfront seating and tiki bars for adults. Our focus is on providing fresh, quality food & drinks made to order, accompanied by interactive and memorable guest experiences.

Server Job Description: As a server at de Lazy Lizard, you play a vital role in shaping the guest experience. Your primary responsibilities include:

• Recommending signature items and engaging guests to enhance their dining experience.
• Providing personalized service in a warm and professional manner.
• Properly IDing guests if they are ordering alcohol (21+)
• Maintaining a clean and organized section, ensuring compliance with health department guidelines.
• Assisting team members by pre-bussing and running drinks to support a collaborative environment.
• Handling payments accurately and following responsible alcohol service guidelines.
• Using radios to communicate effectively with staff and management.
• Using tablets to place orders and take payments tableside.
• Reporting any guest issues to managers rather than attempting to resolve them independently.
• Following all procedures and guidelines outlined in the employee handbook and training materials.
• Upselling and marketing yourself to give your guests the best experience
• Proper use of our apps such as Hotschedules, payday portal, tipzyy, jolt

Your performance will be ranked based on upselling and accuracy, which determines your section size. Actively striving to improve your ranking can lead to more opportunities and higher earnings.

Shift Availability:

• Lunch shift: 11 AM - 4 PM
• Dinner shift: 4 PM - 11 PM
