Space Electromagnetic Warfare (SEW) Instructor/Curriculum Developer – USSF Guardian Enlisted Training Job Category: Technology Requisition Number: ORBIT003761 Full-Time On-site Locations Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA. Position Summary Aleut is seeking a Space Electromagnetic Warfare (SEW) Instructor/Curriculum Developer to support the 533d Training Squadron’s USSF Guardian Enlisted Training (GET) initiative at Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA. Work is slated to start on 1 January 2027 (contingent upon contract award). The role involves developing, instructing, and maintaining curriculum that covers SEW fundamentals—electromagnetic spectrum basics, electronic attack, protection, and support—and integrating these concepts into mission exercises and capstone events. The instructor will mentor students, support integrated events and guest instruction, participate in curriculum reviews, and maintain LMS records. Responsibilities Develop and instruct SEW curriculum including EM spectrum fundamentals, electronic attack, electronic protection, and electronic support. Integrate EW effects into mission exercises and capstone events. Assess and mentor students. Support integrated events, guest instruction, and multi-course instruction. Support mission integration and Graduation Exercise (GRADEX) activities. Participate in curriculum reviews, agile course development and maintenance efforts. Maintain LMS records and student documentation. Participate in faculty development and continuous improvement activities. Coordinate activities with Contract PM and government supervisory personnel. Perform additional duties as assigned. Required Skills Skilled communicator, experienced in providing platform instruction to an academically diverse audience. Prior completion of AETC Basic Instruction Course (BIC) or another service equivalent, accepted by CCAF, or ability to obtain a CCAF accredited BIC certification within 3 months after employment. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook). Active or current Top‑Secret Clearance and SCI eligibility required. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree required or Community College of the Air Force associate degree in Air & Space Operations Technology. Minimum 3 years of experience in ISD‑based curriculum/lesson development. Minimum 3 years of space experience in the specific mission area of this position with a U.S. Government agency. Minimum 3 years of experience as a formal instructor or 5 years as a briefer/public speaker. Work Environment Work on-site in an indoor office and classroom environment. Physical Demands Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods. Must be able to perform repetitive keyboard tasks and associated motions for prolonged periods. Must be able to carry up to 25 pounds.
