Cyberspace Operations Instructor/Curriculum Developer – USSF Guardian Enlisted Training Job Category: Technology Requisition Number: SPACE003759 Full-Time On-site Locations Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA Position Summary Aleut is seeking a Cyberspace Operations Instructor/Curriculum Developer to support the 533d Training Squadron’s USSF Guardian Enlisted Training (GET) initiative at Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA. Work is slated to start on 1 January 2027 (contingent upon contract award). The GET initiative enhances the training of enlisted Guardians as technical specialists and leaders across satellite operations, cyberspace operations, and intelligence operations. Essential Job Functions Perform curriculum development and instruction across a wide range of Cyberspace Operations disciplines including: Foundational IT and cyberspace operations curriculum; introduce cyber concepts, systems, terminology, and basic cyber tradecraft supporting GET-CYBER. Cyber warfare to include cyber mission planning, defensive cyber operations, mission execution, debriefing, and cyber mission force concepts; support cyber-focused exercises and integrated operations. Develop and teach networking and cyber infrastructure curriculum; instruct students on network operations, architectures, cyber ranges, and defensive cyber operations concepts. Assess and mentor students. Support integrated events, guest instruction, and multi-course instruction. Support mission integration and Graduation Exercise (GRADEX) activities. Participate in curriculum reviews, agile course development and maintenance efforts. Maintain LMS records and student documentation. Participate in faculty development and continuous improvement activities. Coordinate activities with Contract PM and government supervisory personnel. Additional duties as assigned. Required Skills Skilled communicator, experienced in providing platform instruction to an academically diverse audience. Prior completion of AETC Basic Instructor Course (BIC) or other service equivalent, accepted by CCAF or ability to obtain a CCAF accredited BIC certification within 3 months after employment. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook). Active or current Top-Secret Clearance and SCI eligibility required. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree required or Community College of the Air Force associates degree in Cybersecurity. Minimum 3 years of experience in ISD-based curriculum/lesson development. Minimum 3 years of space experience in the specific mission area of this position with a U.S. Government agency. Minimum 3 years of experience as a formal instructor or 5 years as a briefer/public speaker. Work Environment Work on‑site, indoor office and classroom environment. Physical Demands Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods. Must be able to perform repetitive keyboard tasks and associated motions for prolonged periods.
