PTO Job Details Our regional firm is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax Senior to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax, federal and state tax, and public accounting. As a Tax Senior, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of tax associates and providing expert tax advice to our clients. This is a permanent position with opportunities for growth and advancement within the firm. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage a team of tax associates, providing guidance and support as needed Review and prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with current tax laws and regulations Communicate with clients to provide expert tax advice and answer any questions they may have Assist with tax planning and strategy development to minimize tax liabilities for clients Participate in training and development programs to stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations Collaborate with other departments within the firm to ensure seamless service delivery to clients Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field CPA certification preferred 2+ years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage and lead a team of tax associates Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficient in Microsoft Office and tax preparation software This role has exposure to the full process and training to become a well-rounded business professional.
