PROGRAM COORDINATOR - YOUTH COMMISSION

Job Opportunities The Town of Stoughton is seeking applications to fill this full time (35hrs/wk), benefitted, union position. This position works under the direct supervision of the Recreation Director and Council on Aging Administrative Director for clinical support. Work is generally performedin an office setting--specifically at the COA/Youth Commission building; some fieldwork is required when assisting with the Recreation Department's summer program. Qualifications Master’s degree in social work with 3 to 5 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience Valid LCSW, LMHC, or equivalent licensure Proven experience in individual or group counseling settings Ability to build rapport with clients and create a trusting therapeutic environment Additional Requirements Excellent verbal and written communication skills Physical demands may require occasional lifting of objects up to 50 pounds Ability to interact in a positive and effective manner with clients, employees, and the general public Working knowledge of Microsoft and Google programs like sheets, excel, word, docs, and power point Starting Salary range: $49/hr The Town of Stoughton is committed to the ongoing pursuit of strategic diversity initiatives that help to position diversity, equity, and inclusion as central to municipal and community-wide excellence in the town.
