Job Overview: We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Medical Receptionist to support a busy healthcare practice serving multiple Hudson Valley locations. This role is responsible for creating a positive patient experience while ensuring the efficient operation of front desk, scheduling, and administrative functions. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing patient interaction with administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced medical environment. Medical Receptionist Responsibilities: Welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner Answer incoming calls and assist with appointment scheduling Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and medical records Update and maintain electronic health records (EHR) Collect co-pays and process patient payments accurately Prepare, organize, and maintain patient charts and documentation Coordinate with providers and clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow Manage incoming and outgoing communications, including email and fax correspondence Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area Follow HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality Qualifications & Skills: Previous experience in a medical office, healthcare administration, or medical reception role preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Experience scheduling appointments and managing multiple priorities Familiarity with electronic medical records (EHR) systems preferred Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism Strong organizational and data-entry skills Reliable transportation and ability to travel between office locations as needed Why Join This Opportunity?
