Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist, you will be working onsite in a home care setting, allowing you to provide personalized therapy programs in a comfortable and familiar environment for our patients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations by observing patients' movements and behaviors to accurately assess their needs and establish a baseline for treatment.

• Instruct patients on the proper use of therapeutic exercises, ensuring they understand the techniques to maximize the benefits and minimize risks.

• Assist patients with mobility aids such as wheelchairs and walkers, ensuring safe and effective use in their daily routines.
• Maintain accurate patient records, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes to document improvements and adjustments in care.
• Work collaboratively with patients' families, providing them with guidance on interim treatment options and exercises that can be performed at home.
• Diagnose movement dysfunction and establish a comprehensive treatment strategy to optimize recovery and enhance physical function.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work primarily with orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions affecting their mobility. Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.

• At least 2 years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, demonstrating successful outcomes in therapy practices.

Compensation and Benefits
