Associate Interior Designer

Audrey Campbell Design is seeking an exceptionally driven Associate Designer to join our studio. This role is ideal for a highly organized, self-driven individual with a passion for luxury residential design and a desire to take ownership of projects. The Associate Designer will collaborate closely with the Principal Designer while taking ownership of the day-to‑day design development, client communication, and execution of projects from concept through installation. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and sees problems as things to solve rather than elevate. They are confident managing multiple priorities, communicating with clients and vendors, and taking initiative to move projects forward. In addition to a strong design sensibility, they possess excellent organizational and problem‑solving skills, demonstrate leadership qualities, and have a desire for continued professional growth. Key Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To: Develop design concepts, furnishings packages, finish selections, and construction details for luxury residential projects. Source furnishings, finishes, lighting, plumbing, and architectural elements. Prepare furniture plans, elevations, and construction drawings in AutoCAD. Generate schedules, specifications, and technical documentation to support project execution. Develop and present design concepts and client presentations with confidence and professionalism. Lead client meetings, site visits, and vendor consultations. Lead communication and coordination among clients, vendors, trades, and consultants to ensure projects move forward efficiently and design intent is executed accurately. Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail. Oversee project progress from concept through installation, proactively identifying next steps and helping maintain project momentum. Contribute to studio processes and proactively identify solutions to project challenges. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited Interior Design program. 4–6 years of experience in residential interior design. This is not an entry level position. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD. Knowledge of Studio Designer Knowledge of SketchUp preferred but not required Experience leading client and vendor meetings and producing construction drawings. Exceptional eye for scale, color, pattern, and detail. Articulate verbal and written communication skills. Highly proficient in time management. Demonstrated ability to independently manage projects, prioritize competing deadlines, and drive tasks to completion. Self‑motivated with a proactive approach to project ownership and execution. Ability to manage multiple clients and projects in a fast‑paced environment. Based in Dallas, Texas, with reliable daily transportation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
