Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Provide pharmacy services as a Staff Pharmacist in a retail setting, ensuring accurate dispensing and excellent patient care at a location in Jackson, MS. This per diem role offers the opportunity to support pharmacy operations with a flexible schedule.

Schedule:

• Thursday, 8/20: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Monday, 9/14: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Tuesday, 9/15: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Wednesday, 9/16: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday, 9/17: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
• Counsel patients regarding medication usage, side effects, and interactions
• Review prescriptions for completeness, accuracy, and appropriateness
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient medication therapy
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards
• Manage inventory and ensure proper storage of medications

Desired Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist with current registration to practice
• Experience in retail pharmacy dispensing and patient counseling
• Knowledge of prescription drug laws and pharmacy best practices
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
