The Role
- Serve as the clinical leader and set the standard for medical quality, patient care, and client experience
- Split time primarily in direct patient care while providing medical oversight and guidance to the team
- Mentor and develop associate veterinarians; foster a collaborative, high-performing culture
- Partner with practice leadership on protocols, case review, and operational excellence
- Provide comprehensive small animal care, including wellness, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, urgent care, and internal medicine
- Full-time position; typical commitment of at least 35 hours per week

Requirements
- DVM/VMD (or equivalent) from an accredited institution
- Current or eligible license to practice in Rhode Island
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Active DEA registration (or eligibility) and any required state-controlled substance registrations
- 3–5 years of clinical experience as a veterinarian; prior leadership experience preferred
