Hilltop Paving Sealer Division, LLC is looking to hire laborers/crew leaders/supervisors in the asphalt and sealcoating industry. We pride ourselves in employing individuals who are self-motivated, dependable and detail oriented.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School or equivalent (Preferred)
• Driver’s License: Required
• OSHA 10 or Safeland Preferred
• DOT medical card Preferred
• Asphalt Experience Preferred

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Willingness to learn and master all the aspects of the paving and sealing industry.
• Operate all types of asphalt paving equipment including but not limited to; asphalt paver, screed, rollers, broom skid steer, road mill, sealer machines, tar machines, Desco 2000’s and excavators.
• Shovel, lute and spread asphalt.
• Able and willing to lift and carry different materials of various weights and able to move and lift 50 lbs. on a reoccurring basis.
• Push and pull objects/hand operated tools.
• Housekeeping of job site and equipment.
• Assist in maintaining equipment so that the equipment is kept in working order.
• Always aware of safety issues, maintains a safe work environment.
• Use PPE while on jobsite e.g., hard hat safety glasses, ear protection, high visibility vest or shirt, steel toe boots, pants, and gloves.
• Able to work individually and as a team, follow directions given by crew leaders or foreman.
• Willing to take on challenges and grow as a vital employee of the company.

Environment:

This is an outdoor position that can have various climate conditions ranging from cold with rain to hot and humid. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high, with occasional periods of time exposed to machine noise.
