Senior Staff Accountant

LHH is working with a large, national company that is searching for a temporary Senior Staff Accountant for their team. You will work with a team that is motivated and takes pride in their work. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings a strong foundation from public accounting. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of accounting experience. This position offers a hybrid work schedule from Bellevue, WA after training. This will be at least a six-month contract with the strong possibility of extension. Key Responsibilities Manage and execute the month-end and year-end close process Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals Analyze financial statements and investigate variances Support audit activities, including preparation of schedules and documentation Assist with technical accounting research and implementation of accounting standards Partner cross-functionally with operations and leadership teams Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3–6 or more years of accounting experience, including public accounting experience (preferred) Strong understanding of GAAP fundamentals Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Pay Details: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour Search managed by: Brittany Cona Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
