Table 12 Kitchen + Bar: Seeking Full-Time Line Cook Job Title: Line Cook (Full-Time) Department: Back of House| Reports To: Executive Chef Location: 175 W Boylston St, West Boylston, MA 01583 Position Summary Table 12 Kitchen & Bar is seeking an experienced full-time Line Cook to join our back-of-house team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality, consistent dishes while working as part of a strong team. This is a full-time position eligible for company benefits, including health, dental, and 401(k) participation. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, presentation standards, and timing guidelines. Set up, stock, and maintain cleanliness of assigned station before, during, and after each shift. Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures in compliance with health and safety regulations. Assist with prep work, portioning, and labeling as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Communicate clearly and effectively with fellow cooks, servers, and kitchen management. Maintain high standards of quality, consistency, and presentation for every dish served. Support opening and closing kitchen duties, including restocking and cleaning equipment. Follow all safety procedures and report any issues or equipment malfunctions promptly. Qualifications Minimum 18 years of age 1–2+ years of line cook experience required in a full-service or high‑volume kitchen environment Strong working knowledge of food preparation techniques and commercial kitchen equipment ServSafe certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment Strong teamwork, communication, and time‑management skills Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs Schedule & Compensation Schedule: Full-time; nights, weekends, and holidays required Pay Range: $20–$25 per hour, based on experience Working Environment Fast‑paced commercial kitchen, requiring standing for extended periods, exposure to heat, and frequent lifting, bending, and reaching. Must adhere to safety and sanitation standards at all times.
