We're seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist for a 17-week contract assignment at a hospital in Cortlandt Manor, New York. This opportunity is ideal for technologists who are dependable, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced imaging department while delivering exceptional patient care.

What You'll Do

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures following physician orders and departmental protocols
• Ensure proper patient positioning and image quality per MQSA standards
• Prepare, position, and educate patients prior to imaging procedures
• Operate and maintain mammography equipment while adhering to radiation safety standards
• Maintain accurate patient records and image documentation
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and fellow imaging professionals to provide efficient patient care
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized imaging environment
• Follow facility policies and quality assurance guidelines while providing compassionate patient care

Schedule & Requirements
Available Shift
8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

• Monday–Friday

Required Qualifications

• MQSA certified
• Active ARRT (M) Certification
• Active ARRT (R) Certification
• Current BLS Certification
• Graduate of a Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (AMA) accredited educational program required
• Some college preferred
• Radiologic licensure by the New York State Department of Health required
• Previous experience with screening and diagnostic mammography
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
